God Allows U-Turns® is a global outreach dedicated to changing lives through a focus on following a Navigator who will keep us on the right path. Founded by Allison Gappa Bottke as a result of her own dramatic, life-changing U-Turn, the critical mission of the organization is to change lives through a relationship with Jesus Christ, our Life Navigator. The purpose of the God Allows U-Turns® outreach is to challenge people around the world to make a difference for God as they focus on making bold, new direction choices, with God at the center of their life. Encouraging people to make U-Turns toward God, thus changing lives, changing families, is our ultimate purpose. We hope to encourage life-changing U-Turn choices through books for adults, children and youth, e-mail and postal newsletters, U-Turns logo merchandise, a national woman's conference, our charitable God Allows U-Turns® Foundation, and many additional methods of worldwide outreach as the organization grows.

Jesus promises us all that through Him we can discover and experience life to it's fullest. Making wrong turns, poor direction choices and traveling without a road map are commonplace for many. Many people are not living life to its fullest. We want to reach anyone who is "spiritually lost on the highway of life."

How do we know we are lost? Families everywhere are currently struggling with painful issues. What brings a family to declare, "Let's change the way we live?" As seen in the hundreds of true short stories contained in current volumes of the popular God Allows U-Turns® book series, the reasons for making a u-turn are as varied as the family. Death, divorce, addiction, abuse, abortion, financial struggles, suicide, cancer, life-threatening illnesses, and dozens of other reasons are bringing countless people around the world to an understanding that "something needs to be changed." In all of these accounts, what changed was their spiritual direction. Suddenly, they found themselves seeing the truth and the truth set them free.

God wants us all to share the Truth with anyone who does not know Him. The God Allows U-Turns® Project is dedicated to sharing that truth.

A Personal Note from Allison

Because of a relationship with Jesus Christ my life will never again be the same. God Allows U-Turns® started as a way to share my new direction journey.

After reading literally tens of thousands of true short stories over the past few years, it is my opinion we are living in the throes of a major U-Turn Revival. God is moving in a mighty way. People around the world are reaching that critical point of decision when we can no longer ignore the sign in the road that makes us choose which direction to turn.

Has a U-Turn changed your life or the life of a loved one? Has someone close to you re-committed their life to God, or come to know God for the first time? Have you made the choice to forgive someone, or has someone forgiven you? Has trial and tragedy taught you a valuable life lesson? Are you able to see life more clearly now due to a course correction that has led to new direction living? If so, you are a part of this U-Turn Revival!

Are you seeing friends and loved ones find faith in times of fear? Triumph in times of tragedy? Hope and joy in times of defeat and pain? Are you a child of God who suddenly understands that it's never too late to turn around, that a person cannot be so broken that they can't make a U-Turn toward God? Our goal is to help people on their faith journey, to help lead them closer to God. Through the God Allows U-Turns® outreach, we have a vehicle to help others navigate the rough terrain of change on their new direction journeys.

God Allows U-Turns® is becoming a first point of contact--a "clearing house," as it were, for U-Turn Stories and Answered Prayer Stories from around the world. Whether you are someone just contemplating a turn in the road, or someone who has made an about-face the likes of which boggles the imagination, we want to hear from you and we want to share your U-Turn story. Can your true story help to change a life? We will help people via: 1. Sharing the true stories of others (via our books.) 2. Offering Resources Page to give direction to the lost (via web sites we recommend on our Resources Page.) Please share our web site with others.
