Allison Bottke is the creative force behind Boomer Babes Rock! and God Allows U-Turns, an international outreach that includes over 23 books, tracts, logo merchandise, and a speaking and teaching ministry. Along with compiling and editing the popular God Allows U-Turns and God Answers Prayers anthology series, her non-fiction includes I Can't Do It All - Breaking Free from the Lies that Control Us, co-authored with bestselling fiction author Tracie Peterson and Dianne O'Brian, and her newest non-fiction book titled; Setting Boundaries with Your Adult Children, releasing in 2008. Allison's debut novel A Stitch in Time, released in 2006 and was followed by One Little Secret, in the summer of 2007. She has partnered with David C. Cook Publishers (formerly Cook Communications Ministries) to write a trilogy of contemporary hip-lit novels for baby boomer women. The first installment in the VA VA VA BOOM! series will release in 2009.
With her move to fiction, Allison has defined the genre of "Boomer-lit...contemporary women's fiction-with-an-attitude!"

Along with Allison’s opinion and comments, we’ll offer up some tasty tidbits in the form of reader discussion questions, points to ponder, and in some cases we’ll even have personal notes from the author just for our Boomer Babes Rock readers! From time to time we’ll give away autographed books and special prizes. A vital part of our Boomer Babes Book Club is the community we hope to develop in the “Comment” section below the individual blog postings. So feel free to speak up and let us know what you think of our featured Book of the Month! You can even purchase the books we are reading right here on our site by clicking on the cover graphic below. Or, visit your local book store to request our titles.
